Holiday accommodation is mostly in private villas and a few low rise expensive apartments so the beach area remains pleasant and welcoming. The sailing, diving, walking and sea sports are excellent and yet not yet on the commercial footing of other areas.

How to get to Javea:

Javea is 1 hour from Alicante and Valencia. Both cities offer excellent air, train and sea routes to Europe, the rest of Spain and international destinations. The motorway is only 10-15 miutes away and driving to Barcelona or the south not a problem.
